THE REQUEST FOR FY21 PROPOSALS IS NOW CLOSED
Request for Proposals – RIF Grants Competition and Proof-of-Concept Competition
The Office of Economic Development and Industry Relations (EDIR) is now accepting applications for FY21 Regents Innovation Fund (RIF) proposals. There are two categories in which to apply:
- FY21 RIF Phase I and Phase II Proposals – The funds are to support the development of Iowa State University (ISU) innovations with commercial potential and to help more Iowa State technology reach the marketplace as the foundation for new Iowa companies and/or the growth of existing Iowa companies.
- FY21 RIF Proof-of-Concept Proposals – The funds are to support the development of ISU innovations with commercial potential and address knowledge gaps identified through ISU I-Corps Site participation.
Deadline for receipt of applications is May 15, 2020; the review panel date for selected Phase I and Phase II RIF applications is June 11, 2020. Prior to initiating the application process, applicants should contact Kris Johansen, kajohans@iastate.edu, 294-3208 to discuss their idea.
