Throughout the program, founders receive assistance in defining a strong go-to-market strategy, building on customer discovery and/or secure commercialization partners, and refining an investor pitch aligned with their business plan. The program culminates with a Pitch Day where cohort members present to potential investors, customers, and partners.
Go-To-Market was developed in partnership with the Iowa State Startup Factory. Many times, startups that go through the Iowa State iCorps and ISU Startup Factory programs are not market ready at the conclusion of those programs, so the program bridges an important gap to investable or customer ready. While the program is not exclusive to former participants of the program, many have prior participation in an accelerator of some kind.
